Leadership |
The
Stromme Group, Inc. is comprised of people from all walks of life. Our
daily operations include those listed in our "Leadership" section
but it doesn't stop there. We have affiliations with various groups and
organizations who support our mission in a variety of ways. We won't
try to list them all on our site.
Suffice it so say, we are indebted to
every one who works with us and all the assistance we've received along
the way.

Our
Mission |
We
are seeking additional strategic partners to create and market to the
government, among other projects, TSG's "RecRehab" (recreational
rehabilitation) units. They will be placed at military facilities purposed
to rehabilitate wounded and disabled military personnel. Our intended
end users will include wounded warriors AND the families who are helping
them through their recovery. A typical RecRehab unit will include an
initial inventory of hardware, supplies, training materials and active
training staff; Everything necessary for wounded warriors to maximize
their use and enjoyment of the woodturning/woodworking hobbies. We see
the potential for a wounded warrior to be engaged, trained and motivated
to either enter into the workforce, or establish home-based businesses
that produce goods for which TSG will supply a ready market.
Potential partners include nationwide
retailers with under-used training facilities (who will welcome additional
customers), equipment suppliers, military base organizations, Veteran
integration support groups and others.
As disabled combat veterans, we know how
injured vets tend to withdraw from the world and turn away from those
who love them. It is extremely difficult to go to war as one person and
come home as an entirely different person. Imagine a wounded vet who
is estranged from his children or other family members . . . this program
might, just might, offer to him or her an opportunity to be involved
with a time-honored activity, wood working, in a productive program specifically
designed to create life-changing opportunities. |
Values
|
We
believe in the old-fashioned notion of "treating others as we would
have them treat us."
- That simple sentence has moral authority because it demands:
- Personal intergrity,
- Honesty,
- Creativity,
- Honor - acknowledged internally and released freely to others,
- Respect,
- A comittment to excellence, and,
- Lives filled with laughter and generosity.
